Typography RefinementsHeading styles have been refined across Nooto.
H1 and H5 headings # and ##### now use the site's accent color, making primary titles and highlighted labels more visually consistent.
H6 headings ####### are now displayed in red and can be used for warnings, important notes, or attention messages.
Typography spacing and heading hierarchy have also been simplified for improved readability.
Hero ImagesNooto now supports Hero Images.
Hero blocks allow you to create large visual sections with a cover image, title, subtitle, and optional call-to-action button directly from Markdown.
Simply add a hero block anywhere in your Nooto to create visually prominent introductions for projects, books, products, events, portfolios, and featured content.
Hero Images automatically adapt to desktop and mobile screens and include built-in text overlays for improved readability.
Documentation Theme "Atlas"
A new additional Documentation theme is now available.
The "Atlas theme" transforms a Nooto into a structured documentation experience, featuring a dedicated navigation sidebar and a desktop layout optimized for manuals, guides, knowledge bases, reference materials, and educational content.
Atlas is ideal for larger Nooto projects organized into multiple chapters, sections, and pages.
Analytics Integration
Nooto now supports both Google Analytics 4 and Umami Analytics.
Website owners can connect their own analytics platform by entering either a Google Analytics Measurement ID (G-XXXXXXXXXX) or an Umami Website ID in their Nooto settings.
This allows each Nooto to collect visitor statistics directly inside the owner's analytics account, including page views, traffic sources, visitor locations, devices, and engagement metrics.
Google Analytics and Umami can be used independently or together, giving creators the flexibility to choose the analytics solution that best fits their needs.
Website Theme "Brisk"
A new additional Website theme is now available.
The "Brisk theme" transforms a Nooto Classic into a more common website experience, with a full-width layout, editorial typography, and a redesigned navigation system optimized for longer content.
Ruby Annotations
Nooto now supports Ruby annotations (furigana) for Japanese text.
Ruby annotations can be used anywhere in your content, making Nooto more suitable for educational materials, language learning, tourism guides, and Japanese publications.
QR Sharing
Each Nooto now has its own QR code, making it easier to share your permanent place on the web.
Boxes and Strips
Two new content blocks have been added: [box] and [strip]. They can contain Markdown and help highlight important information.
Japanese Search Support
The global search now supports Japanese, Chinese and other non-latin languages without relying on word boundaries.
Search Highlight Improved
Search highlighting now works more accurately across different writing systems and Unicode character variants.
