How is Nooto different from website builders?

Payments

Why is Nooto not completely free?

Please refer to the current pricing information on the official website, as costs may change over time.

Do organizations pay the same amount as individuals?

Nooto is accessible to everyone. However, organizations that benefit from Nooto are encouraged to support the project with a larger contribution.

Privacy & Ownership

Who owns the content I publish?

You do. Nooto does not claim ownership of your content.

Can search engines index my Nooto?

Yes. Public Nooto pages can be indexed by search engines.

Is a Private Nooto completely private?

Nooto allows you to mark a site as Private, which prevents it from being publicly listed or indexed as a normal public Nooto.

However, Private does not mean absolute secrecy or guaranteed isolation. Like any web-based service, technical errors, misconfigurations, software bugs, unauthorized access, backups, logs, browser caching, screenshots, third-party services, or future changes may expose information in ways that cannot be fully predicted or prevented.

For this reason, Nooto should not be used to store or publish highly sensitive, confidential, regulated, classified, financial, medical, legal, or security-critical information.

If information would cause serious harm if disclosed, it should not be stored on Nooto, regardless of the site's visibility setting.

Private Nooto is intended for convenience, limited sharing, drafts, personal notes, and non-sensitive content—not as a secure vault or confidential document system.

Does Nooto sell my data?

No.

Can I export my content?

Yes. Since Nooto is based on Markdown, your content remains easy to preserve and reuse. You can export it anytime from your account.

What happens if Nooto disappears one day?

One of the goals of Nooto is portability and lomgevity. Your content is stored in a simple format designed to remain usable in the future. If you care, export and save your Nooto from time to time.

Does Nooto track visitors?

Nooto collects only the information necessary to operate the service and maintain reliability.

Why is my image not loading?

The image URL may be incorrect, unavailable, blocked, or temporarily unreachable.

The source platform may restrict embedding, or the URL may be invalid.
